Damaged Church Rebuild

Damaged Church Rebuild

In 2016, Hurricane Matthew (a category 4 hurricane) made a direct impact into both the southern and northern peninsulas of Haiti. In doing so, it killed over 4,000 people in southern Haiti and destroyed countless structures. One of those structures affected was a small church in Bombardopolis, the home town of Jerusalem Children’s Home. When we visited in January of 2018, we were brought to this church by Reedson and Marcel Maurancy. We found the only thing remaining was the foundation. The church was still in use, though the walls and roof were just burlap and tarps. During this visit, we felt compelled by the Lord to promise help in rebuilding this church.
Mountains to Mountains Ministries’ goal is to raise $12,000.00 to rebuild the church structure that once existed on this property. To show our sincerity, $4,000.00 has already been donated toward the completion of this project. Every dollar and donation would help us accomplish our goal of finishing this important project and restoring a community’s hope.
